RNPP equipment almost ready, says Pavel Marchenk

Pavel Marchenk, Director of Petrozavodsk Month, said that it is an honor and responsibility for us to implement the order of Bangladesh within the stipulated time. So we didn’t just show our guests the preparation of nuclear equipment. We have also shown the construction process of almost ready parts of Ruppur nuclear power plant.
He made the remarks when a two-member delegation led by Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Russia Kamrul Hasan visited the factory on October 15.
The delegation was led by Kamrul Hasan, Bangladesh’s ambassador to Russia, and Shubhashis Sardar, Bangladesh’s nuclear adviser to Russia. Sergei Osipenk, Deputy Director of Localization of Materials and Equipment, Sergei Streltsov, led the delegation on behalf of the Rosatom State Corporation.
Welcoming the members of the Bangladesh delegation, Petrozavodskamus, Director of the branch of Atomenagomas and the Technology Branch of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation, a member of the Caroline Regional Wing of the Russian Technology Union, Pavel Marchenk. This information was given in a press release issued by the public relations branch of Rosatom on Saturday 18 October. Pavel Marchenk briefed the guests on the history of the plant, ongoing activities and the progress of equipment under construction for the Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant.
During the visit, the delegates learned about nuclear technology, equipment preparation process, cladding pipe bank of cooling pipeline, pressurizer parts, reactor cooling pumps and equipment manufacturing site of Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant. Petrozavodskmas has started unloading the first part of the order for the Ruppur project. The first item will be sent from the reactor coolant pump factory of Unit 1. It will first be sent by road to St. Petersburg and from there by ship to the port of Bangladesh.
Ambassador Kamrul Hasan said, “The main purpose of our visit was to observe the equipment manufacturing process at the Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant. We have seen extremely modern and high-powered equipment. As a result, we are not worried about the quality and safety of the equipment at the Rooppur nuclear power plant.
” Mr Sergei Osipenk said: “We are committed to upholding the trust of our Bengali customers. Through this inspection, we were able to show the delegation that the machinery of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant will be completed as per the demand and within the stipulated time.
