Prominent environment lawyer and Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (BELA) Chief Executive Advocate Syeda Rizwana Hasan yesterday expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as her husband was rescued safe and sound.
Expressing thanks to the Prime Minister from herself and her family, Rizwana said quick rescue of her husband was
possible following instructions from the PM to law enforcers to take all out efforts to find him.
Rizwana said this while talking to the media at Dhanmondi Police Station, sitting beside her husband.
Abu Bakar Siddique, managing director of a garment factory Hamid Fashion, was abducted from Delpara under Fatullah Police Station around 3 pm on Wednesday while he was returning to Dhaka by his car from his work place.
After the abduction the PM instructed every agencies concerned to find out Siddique within the shortest possible time.
Following her (PM) instruction, a five-member committee was formed by home ministry headed by Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Sheikh Muhammed Maruf Hasan.
