Popular actor Riaz will be seen to act with Sumaiya Shimu in a play and a telefilm under same director’s direction on the occasion of ensuing Eid-ul-Azha. They worked together in SA Haque Alik scripted and directed a play titled Love Marriage With Arrange Marriage and telefilm titled Swaghoshito Goyenda.
Shooting of the telefilm was wrapped up in last month while shooting of the play was done last Monday. The telefilm will be aired on Banglavision on fourth day of Eid at 2:10pm. On the other hand, the play Love Marriage With Arrange Marriage will be aired on Etv.
While talking about these two works Riaz told this correspondent, “Earlier under Alik’s direction I also acted in movie. I have also worked in many plays under his direction. He works in organised way. Theme of his plays is very much constructive. I had experience to work with Sumaiya Shimu. I hope viewers will enjoy our acting in these works in Eid.”
Sumaiya Shimu shared her feelings by this way, “There was huge pressure of works for Eid. So I couldn’t give time for me also. Therefore, shooting of most of the plays were outside Dhaka. So I have to work industriously. In fact, I became tired to act in these works. I have liked stories of Alik Bhai’s play and telefilm. Riaz Bhai is very much cooperative. In fact, we work nicely under a team work while taking part in shooting of these works. As a result, these became nice works.”
It is mentioned that Riaz for the first time paired up with Sumiya Shimu in a TVC of a cold drink under Siddhartho’s direction.
Later they worked together in many TV plays. Riaz performjed with Moushumi and Apu Biswas in two separate TVCs which will be aired in different satellite channels in Eid.
