After a long time, popular actor Riaz and first
runner-up of Lux-Anandadhara Photogenic 2004
Tanzika have paired up together once again
with an Eid special telefilm titled Andho Ava.
They will be seen appearing as husband and wife in
the telefilm under the direction of Sokal Ahmed.
Riaz and Tanzika worked together for the first time
in the film titled Bokul Phuler Mala directed
by Delowar Jahan Jhontu.
While talking about the telefilm its director Sokal Ahmed said, “Man never gets rid of his past sins. He has to atone for his sins at some point of his life. With an idea like this, the telefilm Andho Ava has been made. It will be telecasted on ATN Bangla in Eid-ul-Azha.”
In the telefilm, Riaz has played the role of Mahfuz
and Tanzika has enacted the role of Runa.
While sharing his feelings to act in the telefilm Riaz told this correspondent, “Due to various reasons, it was not possible to act with Tanzika for more than a decade. Tanzika is now a much more mature actress. Besides,
I always feel comfortable to work under the direction of Sokal Ahmed. Moreover, I liked the subject of
Andho Ava. I hope it will be liked by the viewers.”
Tanzika shared her feelings by this way, “When
I worked with actor Riaz for the first time, he was already a highly-acclaimed film actor by that time. Even at that time, he was very supportive of me. When I stood in front of the camera with him again after so many years, I found the same previous person. I rarely found an
affable and cooperative artiste like him. I felt really wonderful to work with him after many years. I must thank Sokal Ahmed for involving me in this telefilm.”
