Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim on Sunday called upon all government officials to discharge their duties at workplaces with utmost sincerity.
“Innovative thinking must be developed while discharging government duties.
We have to fulfill our responsibilities with honesty and devotion. We must have a strong mindset to work for the welfare of the people,” he said.
The minister came up with the call while congratulating the newly promoted officials (joint secretaries) of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock at his office room at the Secretariat here, said a press release.
On October 29, a total of eight deputy secretaries of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock were promoted to the post of joint secretary.
While addressing among the promoted officers, Rezaul said promotion in government service is the recognition of good performance.
