Chancellor of Guru Ghasidas Central University, India Prof Dr NR Madhava Menon called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique recently at the latter’s office of the university. Chairman of Bangladesh National Human Rights Commission Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman and Prof Dr Rahmat Ullah of DU Law Department were present on the occasion.
During the meeting they discussed various challenges of the 21st century including cyber crimes. They stressed the need for modernization of curriculum on law to prevent the cyber crime. The possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on law by the University of Dhaka and Guru Ghasidas Central University, India were also discussed in the meeting.
