Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith on Thursday said the revenue collection of the government has surpassed by Taka Tk 3,052 crore as against the target of Taka 1,29,902.39 crore till May in the current fiscal year 2015-2016.
“The revenue collection target for the fiscal 2015-2015 was fixed at Taka 1,50,000 crore and as per a provisional account Taka 1,32,954.21 crore was collected till May as against the target of Taka 1,29,902.39 crore, ” he said while replying to a question from treasury bench member Tipu Sultan of Barisal.
