Comilla District team, Chittagong District team and Mymensingh District team won their respective matches of the ATN Bangla Gold Cup 30th National Hockey Competition on Thursday.
In the day’s first match, Comilla District team blanked Sylhet District team by 5-0 goals at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Jabed and Asif of Comilla District team scored two goals each and their teammate Imon netted one goal.
In the day’s second match, Chittagong District team defeated Patuakhali District team by 4-2 goals at the same venue.
Sydul, Saddam, Tayeb, Kawsar of Chittagong District team scored one goal each while Shohag, Jibon of Patuakhali District team netted one goal each.
In the day’s third match, Mymensingh District team drubbed Habiganj District team by 12-1 goals at the same venue.
Kawsar of Mymensingh District team scored five goals with a hat-trick and his teammate Rahat netted three goals and their colleagues Himel, Maksud successfully struck one time each on the board.
On the other hand, Mainul scored the consolation for the losers.
