The two days’ voting in the Dhaka Bar Association (DBA) election for the session 2018-2019 ended yesterday peacefully with enthusiasm.
Of the 16,129 voters, 9,011 used their franchise to elect 54 representatives including President, Senior Vice-President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Treasurer and Senior Assistant General Secretary.

ruling Awami League.
Immediately after the election was over, the Election Commission led by Chief Election Commissioner advocate Khandaker Abdul Mannan decided to start counting the votes.
In the election of 2017-2018, of the 27 posts, the Blue panel won 21 posts including the posts of President and General Secretary, and White panel won the remaining six posts.
