The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka yesterday deferred the submission of the probe report in a rape case filed against former Dhaka University Central Student Union (DUCSU) Vice-President (VP) Nurul Haque Nur and five others to January 21.
Magistrate Begum Yasmin Ara passed the order fixing new date as police of Lalbagh Police Station could not submit the report.
After 28 years, the DUCSU election was held on March 11 in 2019.
Nurul Haque Nur a quota reform leader won the Vice-President post while the BCL leaders bagged a total of 23 posts out of 25, including General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary.
A student of Dhaka University filed the case on September 20 against him and others.
