Four relatives of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia met her in the prison on the Nazimuddin Road, Dhaka, yesterday afternoon, where she had been taken on Thursday.
Sources said, Khaleda’s sister Selina Islam, younger brother Shamim Eskander, his wife Nasrin Eskander and son Avik Eskander entered around 3:35 pm and met her around 4:15 pm.
After a 40-minute conversation with Khaleda Zia, they left the jail around 5:09 pm.
Several lawyers also went to the jail gate with
fruits and other necessary food items.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia landed in jail on Thursday, after she was handed a five-year imprisonment on Thursday in a graft case.
