Narsingdi Poura Nagorik Committee has accorded a reception to three political personalities of the district on Saturday.
The three receptionists are : Lt Colonel (retd) Nazrul Islam Hiro (Bir patik) MP, State Minister for Water Resources, Nural Mojid Mahmud Humayun MP, the executive member of Bangladesh Awami League and Rahima Aktar MP (reserve seat for woman).
On the occasion, a discussion meeting was also held at District Awami League office premises organised by Poura Nagorik Committee with Kamruzzaman Kamrul Mayor of Narsingdi Pourashava in the chair.
The function was addressed among others by former MP Anwarul Ashraf Khan Dilip, former MP Johirul Hoque Mohan , General Secretary of Narsingdi district Awami League Abdul Motin Bhuiyan Vice president G MTaleb Hossain ,General Secretary of Bangladesh Teacher’s Association Ranjit Kumar Shaha , President of Zilla Chhatra League Sha Alam and General Secretary Samim Nawaj.
The Minister said after returning in the country Sheikh Hasina dedicated herself to the welfare of nation and materilising the dream of Bangabandhu who had wanted to bring smile to the faces of the distressed people. He said the prime aim of Sheikh Hasina Homecoming was to restore democracy in the country .
The Minister sought cooperation from all including leaders and workers of Awami League to build Bangladesh a happy and terrorism and corruption free country.
