Chairman of Rural Electrification Board (REB) Brigadier General Moin Uddin has promoted as Major General and posted again at the same post on November 29.
He was commissioned to Bangladesh Army in 1984 as Lieutenant after completion of BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). He was chief of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST).
Moin Uddin also worked United Nations peace mission in Iraq- Kuwait and Congo in 1994-95 and 2005-06 respectively. He was promoted as Brigadier General in 2011. In October
24, 2011 he was appointed as Chairman of REB.
Moin Uddin was born in 1961 in an aristocratic Muslim family at Dhagun Bhuyan of Feni. Due to professional purpose he was visited China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, USA and Netherland.
