Bangladesh In Soccer
Bangladesh’s defeat in the World and the Asian Cup qualifier match on Monday in Qatar to India has totally diminished their prospect to sail into the next round. Contrarily, India have a chance to cruise into the Asian Cup Championship provided they win their next two matches.
Surely Indian footballers played much better football than their counterparts. Their skills reminded me of Spain’s famous Tiki Taka technique that earned the World Cup in 2010. India’s ball possession was 72 percent, and took 14 shots into the opponents’ goal post. Awkwardly, Bangladesh’s ball possession was 28 percent only and took four shots only.
What India did against Bangladesh on Monday, if could be continued, they may qualify into the final round of the World Cup Football 2026. On the other hand, Bangladesh need further reforms.
