Is Cinema On Coma?

There were about 1,500 cinema halls in the country during the mid-eighties. This number has come down below 150 on account of spectators’ aversion to cinema halls. Even at this point, there was no initiative to recover the loss by any quarter.
Many times in the past, we suggested to produce martial art based cinemas because most youths prefer kung-fu and karate, Surely there are still bunch of martial art specialist actors who could have been used to make a lightning cinemas like Cosa Nosatra Asia, Exit the Dragon Enter the Tiger, Chinese Boxer, Enter the Dragon, Yes Madam and Kung Fu the Fighting.
We have Siraj Panna, Kabir Khan, Rubel, Ilyas Cobra, Dani Sidaq, Daniraj, Sancho Panja, Chita, Alexander Bo, Bruce Lee, Sohel Rana and many others equal to them in skills and presentation . An exciting story with character to be acted by them could be a profit earning cinema and return of spectators provided a director from Hong Kong is hired.

Football
Sheikh Kamal introduced modern technique of football in the country after independence. He hired a British coach for his team Abahani Krira Chakra. BWAPDA did the same thing. The trend continues.
We believe, he could have given us more had he lived long to build Bangladesh as one of the best teams of the continent.
Surely Bangladesh had prospect to shine as a striking football team under a dedicated guide. Sheikh Kamal could have been that guide.
Brazilian football Star Zico said after defeat to Italy in the 1982 World Cup Football, ‘football is a game f goal.’ A German coach said, if individual skills were enough for a win, then Brazil would have been champions in every World Cup. All these prove that both shooting power and skills are required for becoming winners.
Bangladesh had that once. The crisis was absence of a guide after death of Sheikh Kamal, the architect of modern football in the country.
