Empower the captain

Bangladesh incredibly lost to New Zealand in the first Test of the two-match series in Wellington by seven wickets despite scoring massive 595 run in the first innings. The apparent reason of defeat was second innings batting collapse for 160 runs only that gave the home side to score 217 runs to win. The target seemed easy to overtake to take the lead.
But the independent critics differ with this view and hold the feeble bowling line up, and frequent interference into the team selection by the BCB president and the coach from Sri Lanka responsible for defeat.
They say had fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman in the team, it would have been too hard for them to arrest the target, because the home batsmen always feel discomfort against him. A post mortem into his performance in the one-day internationals and the T20 will defend the statement. They further argue that the team will never do well as long as the captain is not given powers to take independent decision on the pitch and in team selection.
Finally, we demand Mustafizur Rahman and retention of Mehedi Miraj in the second and the final Test to level the series.
