Doing justice impartially :
Unrest still brews at Nasirnagar upazila in Brahmanbaria district because of absence of fair deal. Allah says in the holy Quran, Surah An-Nisa, Verse No. 58, “Surely Allah commands you to make over trusts to their owners and that when you judge between people, you judge with justice. Certainly Allah admonishes you with what is excellent. Surely Allah is Seeing, Hearing.”
He says vide Verse No. 94 of the same surah, “O you who believe! When you go to war in Allah’s way, make investigation, and say not to anyone who offers you peace: You are not a believer.” In Verse No. 105 of the said surah, Allah admonishes, “And be not an advocate on behalf of the treacherous.”
In light of the aforesaid three verses, we should be careful when we say something and when we do something before doing anything by ourselves. Rather we should bring anything that hurts our interest to the notice of the administration.
At the same time, the political leaders, the intelligentsia, the press, the TV channels and the civil and the police administration should deal with any matter very carefully so that no injustice is done to any person regardless of his identity. Allah says in Verse No. 135 of the said surah, “O you who believe! Be maintainers of justice, bearers of witness for Allah’s sake though it may be against your own selves or your parents or near relatives, rich or poor.”
Regarding perjury, the Prophet Muhammad (SM) said, “The perjurers will land in the fire of hell.”
I am sure, justice can be delivered if we follow the above.
