Sri Lanka sets example

We envy the people of Sri Lanka, they are so lucky, they are not being ignored like us, when they objected about the setting up of a coal based power plant jointly with India, their Prime Minister informed India that the people of Sri Lanka do not want the project to be built so it will have to be dropped though there is no Sunderbans which would have been destroyed.
The people of Bangladesh from the very beginning, are protesting about the power plant at Rampal but it is falling on deaf ears, why our Prime Minister is not telling India that it would not be possible to build the plant at that site because it would be catastrophic for us. It has been disclosed that NTPC did not get permission to set up a similar coal-fired thermal power plant in India so how could they plan to build it on our side? To sell their coal India is not hesitating to take a path, which is very mean, it seems that India is a large country but not great.
