Name roads after all sector commanders
I have no idea whether there are roads, streets, bridges or institutions after the names of Major (Rtd) M.A. Jalil and Major Nazmul Haque, Commanders of Sector No. 9 (July 17-December 24) and 7 (April 10-September 27) respectively during the war for independence of Bangladesh. If there are not, the government should take quick initiative to do it before April 17-the day the Bangladesh Government was established and the country was divided into 11 military zones.
Not only that, we shall make another request to the present government to confer upon them war hero titles, as other sector commanders were honoured. History will give evidence that Major Jalil and Major Nazmul Haque were the true freedom fighters. Major Nazmul was killed in a road accident on September 27 in India.
