OIC has a role to play
The activities of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) are particularly aimed at the well being of the Muslim countries. Media reports on such activities of OIC often appear in local news outlets of Bangladesh.
We would like to draw the kind attention of OIC Secretary General to know what counter measures have been taken or in the offing against the RSS and Bishwa Hindu Parishad’s (World Hindu Council) attempts to convert Indian Muslims into Hinduism.
Since 1966, these two organizations (RSS and BHP) affiliated with the ruling BJP alliance have reportedly converted about 6 lakh Muslims into Hinduism in India by taking advantage of their abject poverty.
As conscious keeper of the Muslim world and its interests thereto, the OIC should take-up the issue with competent Indian authorities to stop such enforced humiliation of the Muslim community living in India. Mentionable, the Muslims are already marginalised there both in terms of social and economic matrix.
