Too many abductions

Abduction seems to have become a common phenomenon in recent days. In some cases abduction has led to murder while, in some, release of the hostage upon payment of ransom.
On December 26, 2013, a trader Goalgram was abducted. His kidnappers let him go about two months and a half later. On March 17, six dead bodies were found floating in rivers and canals.
In a report titled ’30 alleged abductions by law enforcement agencies in January-February 2014′, it is mentioned that in January 16 men were abducted and 9 of them were found dead. In February, some 14 were abducted; two of them were released and two found death.
If the trend continues, people at large will increasingly feel less secure. The government needs to act against such crimes immediately.
