Its goal that matters in football

The score line is simply incredible. None believed from beforehand that Argentina would net as many as six goals one by one against Paraguay–a team that bemused Brazil three days ago. What Argentina presented on Tuesday afternoon in the Copa America Cup Football was simply wonderful and amazing. Words are unable to describe it. The artistic football Lionel Messi and other Argentines displayed reminded us of the Brilliant Brazilians of the sixties.
Brazil is dead as a football playing nation. Now the responsibility lies with Argentina to keep the Latin football alive. They on Tuesday told the world that Brazil might be dead, ‘but they are alive.’ In a one sided semifinal, Argentina torpedoed Paraguay 6-1 (half time score 2-1) to sail into the final for the 29th time. What is more surprise is that Messi, recognised as the best footballer of the globe, could not score a single goal although he guided the whole team from the mid-field position.
I do not know whether the Brazilians will take the lessons from Argentine celebration. Ball possession becomes fruitless if there is no goal. Zico rightly said: Football is a game of goal. Argentina showed both artistic and scoring ability. Argentina will become Champions after 21 years- 15 titles in all, first for Messi.
