Crowds’ apathy to Volleyball

The Asian Volleyball Championship 2015 Central Zone is in progress in the city but the crowd’s response is poor. Seven nations are in the race.
Hosts Bangladesh, Maldives, Kyrgyzstan and Nepal are in Group ‘B’ while Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan feature in Pole ‘A’. Top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals of this seven-nation championship. The champion team will be flown to Iran to take part in the final round to be held from July 31 to August 8.
But the sad part of the race is that there are no discussion, no debate, and no prediction about the success of the tournament. Even though the country’s remotest village has known the game of volleyball, Bangladesh has not surged ahead in consideration therewith.
About the reasons of the crowd’s poor response to the tournament, volleyball fans have blamed Bangladesh Volleyball Federation’s lack of dexterity. Besides, the media did not give proper coverage to the tournament from before the start. Crowds are life of games and sports. Sportsmen become disheartened in the empty stadium. That is why the unsporting nation cannot make progress in games and sports.
Volleyball is a popular game in Bangladesh considering its acceptability to every village. In order to make Bangladesh a strongly title contender, a long term plan is to be drafted. With it, good counsel is also indispensable and an Iranian coach will be the best.
