Attendance crisis continues in CWC

More than one/fourth of the seat capacity of the stadium remained empty on Thursday in the 2nd quarterfinal of the Cricket World Cup (CWC). That means that attendance crisis deepens. The blank stadium exposed Aussies people’s aversion for cricket.
Rather, greater number of crowd enjoyed the Asia Cup Football matches than the CWC, showing growing popularity of soccer and decline of cricket’s reputation in Australia.
However, India shattered Bangladesh by 109 runs to advance to the semifinals. Many cricket experts say that the current edition of the CWC is a replica of 1992 World Cup Cricket.
Their belief grew in view of Pakistan’s recovery from the heap of ruins. Many amazing things happen in sports, as South Korea upset Iran in the Asia Games Basketball finals last year.
