Laws for sharing properties

On the occasion of International Women’s Day on Sunday, I heard a live TV talk-show demanding equal rights for women in the properties of their parents and sons and husbands.
In this regard, I like to write something for our friends in order that they will realise their information deficiency. According to the Quran, daughters get half of sons because they (females) have no financial responsibility for the other members of the families. The males will maintain females and all other members. Furthermore, what a woman earns, it is exclusively her. Neither her father nor her husband nor her son nor brother can claim financial support from her.
Secondly, it is true that grandchildren are not entitled to the properties of their grandparents. But they (grandparents) can, however, donate a part of the properties (maximum one/third) for their orphan grandchildren.
We shall rather request the government to make law with provision of stern punishment for them who will try to deprive women from their due shares.
