Fanatic leadership
The indiscriminate killing of innocent people in Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Libya, Yemen and some other areas of the world by some fanatic organizations whose leaders claim that they are Muslims remind me of the Verse No. 8 of Surah Baqarah of Al-Quran. The text is: And of the people are some, who say, “We believe in Allah and the Last Day,” but they are not believers.
On Monday, the USIS burnt 45 people to death in Iraq and two days ago beheaded 32 Coptic Christians in Libya. These heinous murders are against the Quran, Islam, human civilization and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SM). Allah says in Verse No. 42 of Surah 42, “The only way of blame is against those who oppress mankind and wrongly revolt in the land. For them, there is severe punishment”
What appears to me, the leaders of such organizations killing the innocent people are clearly misguided and ignorants. About such men, a Muslim scholar said, there are four categories of men in terms of knowledge.
(1) There is someone who knows something and he is conscious about it. Such is scholar. Follow him. (2) There is someone who knows something, but he is not conscious about it. He is sleeping. Awake him. (3) There is someone who does not know anything. But he is conscious about it. Such a man has thirst for knowledge. Help him, and (4) there is someone who knows nothing, but he is not aware of it. Such a man is dangerous. Avoid him.
