We want a change in football
Bangladesh finished just above Sri Lanka in the 12th SAFF Football Championship at Male in Maldives, eventually won by India yet another time. The Bangladesh coach blamed the referees for the team’s elimination, but he did not say anything about his players dismal performance against hosts Maldives, who also could not sail into the final.
In this regard, it may be said that the South Asian countries are the weakest in skills and shooting power throughout the world.
There is nothing to learn and benefit from one another. As such, we think that the Bangladesh Football Federation should approach the Asian Football Confederation for becoming part of the Central Asia which have Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, The Central Asia’s another country Kazakhstan play in Europe, as done by Turkey, Israel, Azerbaijan, Armenia. The last named, however, has become member of European Football Union. Likewise, Australia is a member of AFC.
Or, Bangladesh may apply for membership of the South East Asia Football Federation representing Indonesia, Cambodia,, ,East Timor, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam. We are sure that playing with the Central Asian and the South East Asian countries will be a god decision.
We wait.
