Cine-programme
There is no doubt that the television is a very powerful means of communication between man and man. It telecasts various programme including news, music, sports, talk-show and cine-movies, among others. The audiences become happy if the programme defends the human view, but it is painful if the programme runs counter to the values we uphold. Just it happened on the 21st February, let alone other days.
This year most of the television channels ignored telecasting movies like Ora Egarojan or Aguner Parash Moni. Even a VDO channel of an area of the city did not hesitate to telecast an Indian movie at mid night of 21 February. We as such request the Ministry of Information to look into the matter for taking appropriate action including imposing embargo on that channel.
