Avoid negative politics :
When Obaidul Quader was a MP and used not to hesitate to criticise Awami League when necessary, I admired him for his bold stance. But in a clever move the ruling party made him Road Transport and Bridges Minister, also the General Secretary of Awami League, everything has changed since then, he does not find any fault of the AL and blindly supports its every move. He is now the GS of party in power.
Recently his comments about former Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha is very disappointing and unacceptable because from the very beginning people knew what was happening, their eyes and ears were open though they had to keep their mouths shut.
It all started when Sinha was compelled to leave Bangladesh on October 14,2017 following a Supreme Court’s decision to scrap the 16th amendment to the constitution, nullifying parliament’s power to remove sitting judges.
Now the ruling party is bringing many accusations against Surendra Kumar Sinha but people are not fools, they know what to believe and what not to, we have become tired of this negative politics.
