Charmless Football
Though soccer is the most popular sport in the whole world, it cannot survive for long in a particular country sans leading clubs’ supporters. When we look at the Dhaka Stadium, our skins shudder for fear of seeing one day a closed stadium. Till the eighties, we had to fight for tickets when a soccer match of either First Division Football League or a tournament used to take place. But now, to speak candidly since the beginning of the nineties, stadium began to empty. If the emptiness continues few more years, the situation will be terrible.
India are trying to revive. Can’t we?
