Reading history in right earnest

Most of our television channels and a group of male and female singers are very much fond of Indian culture, but the Indian televisions and the artistes have no respect for our culture. This is not the end. The cable operators also have joined the perversion race by telecasting Indian movies, cartoons, and music. The cable operators do not care for even Friday and our religious festivals like Eid-e-Miladunnabi, two Eids, Muharram; and national programmes like the Victory day, the Independence day, the 7th March and the 17th March on Video channels. There is none to stop them.
Not only that, ex. pro-Moscow communist leaders and workers as well as many other leaders have no idea about the United Bengal movement of H. S. Suhrawardy, Abul Hashim and Sarat Bose. I will ask them to read history and at the same time Bangabandhu’s Ausampta Atmajibani. They will know why the United Bengal programme could not be successful.
Sheikh Mujib worked ardently for sovereign United Bengal, and when it failed, he along with H.S.Suhrawardy, Abul Hashim, Sher-e-Bangla A.K.Fazkul Haque, Maulana Akran Khan worked for Pakistan. Sadly, when the Muslim League’s West Pakistani leaders grabbed the central and treated East Pakistan as a colony, Sheikh Mujib realised that the Bengali speaking people needed an independent country to survive. And he began to work accordingly from 1948. Now may I question what did the communist leaders do in 1946, 1947 and 1948?
