Greedy profit making

The level of the rice-price of the present time is not acceptable, because rice production is more than consumption. Even if it is that production has suffered setback for any reason whatsoever, traders cannot raise rice-price taking the advantage of the common men’s simplicity and the government’s inaction to meet emergency.
In our country, during any religious festival, particularly in the Arabic month of Ramadan, prices of many a item are raised excessively by the traders to make quick money. No other Muslim country in the world does it, rather reduces prices in order to earn pleasure of Allah.
The Prophet Muhammad (SM) has warned against hoarding, making artificial crisis and administrative inaction to safeguard citizens’ rights. It s decreed that stern action will be taken in the Hereafter by Allah against hoarders, illogical profit makers, artificial crisis engineers, and against those of the government machineries failing to work for people’s welfare.
To check the illogical price rising, the government needs to build its own work-force having sense of ethics and morality. If the government does this, people’s plight in all the sectors will be much less than what it is now. May we expect it from the government?
