Member of Parliament for Sylhet 3 constituency and member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Expatriate Welfare Habibur Rahman Habib said, the present government has given importance to the construction of drain-culverts along with the development of communication system. The present Awami League government is working to improve the living standards of the common man.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the ground breaking ceremony of RCC drain construction work at Lalabazar in South Surma Upazila on Thursday.
At the same time, he said, the government has been working sincerely for the development of the country and everyone should cooperate for the smooth running of these works.
