Legendary film actor of Bangladesh Razzak and another legendary actor of Kolkata Ranjit Mallick got the Lifetime Achievement Award at ‘16th Tele-Cine Awards’ held at Nazrul Moncha in Kolkata on June 4.
Ranjit Mallick and Razzak received the award from the Women, Children and Social Welfare Minister of West Bengal Shashi Panja.
After receiving the award Razzak told this correspondent, “I am grateful to them who gave me honour in the soil of Kolkata where I was born. I am really felt emotional. It is really a great achievement in my life. I got Bangladesh’s highest state honour. I acted in several numbers of movies in Kolkata. So I am known to them here. I am really grateful to them.”
Ranjit Mallick shared his feelings by this way, “On same stage I met Razzak after a long time. I am really glad to get the Lifetime Achievement Award for my contribution in the field of acting. I am grateful to the organisers.”
