Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Rawshan Ershad yesterday paid tribute to the martyrs of the War of Independence of the country.
She along with Jatiya Party (JP) lawmakers placed floral wreaths at the National Mausoleum at Savar this noon.
JP Presidium Member and Water Resources Minister Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmood, MP, Ziauddin Bablu, MP, Kazi Feroz Rashid, MP, Syed Abu Hossain Babla, MP, and a large number of leaders and workers were present.
“We have come here to pay homage to the martyrs
of the country and JP chairman and secretary general could not join us due to the party task,” Rawshan Ershad told journalists.
