Raozan Thana police rounded up alleged rapist and headmaster of Patiya Maliara high school Subash Singh Mohajan from Fakir Takia village under Raozan Upazila on Monday .
Raozan thana police sources said the alleged headmaster tried to rape a school girl of class nine in his office room on Saturday last but failed his attempt due to sensing the matter to other students.
Following the complaint of the girl student to the School Managing Committee the alleged headmaster escaped away from the school premises on Sunday. Later Managing Committee lodged complaint to Patiya thana police and hence Raozan Thana police apprehended him from his village home at Raozan at 11 pm on Monday , s ources said. Centring the incident of attempt of raping against girl student, local agitated people alongwith other students enforced gherao program on teachers of the high school on Monday.
