Seven men’s singles matches of the Index Summer Open Ranking Badminton tournament were decided when the last reports came on the third day at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.
In the day’s men’s singles events, Tuhin (Bogra), Jakaria (Khadija Textile), Tushar Krishno (Army), Shuvo (Munshiganj), Gourav Singho (Badminton House), Lokman (Badminton House) and Salman (Sylhet Badminton) won their matches after beating their respective rivals.
In the day’s men’s double events, Parash and Tanvir pair (Kawasaki), Raihan and Riyad pair (Badminton House), Mashrafe Thin (Bogra), Minhaj and Ohidul pair (Kawasaki) and Togor and Kowsar (Sylhet Badminton) won their matches after beating their respective rivals.
In the women’s singles quarter-final events, Shapla (Kawasaki), Bristy Khatun (Army), Rehana Khatun (Army) and Elena Sultana (Army) moved to the semi-finals after eliminating their respective rivals.
