The Prime Minister’s humanitarian assistance was provided to the low-income Hijra people affected by the Corona in Rangpur.
Deputy Commissioner Asib Ahsan provided financial assistance at a function organized by the district administration, City Corporation and Social Service Department at the Rangpur district school ground on Wednesday afternoon.
Md. Abdul Matin, Deputy Director, Department of Social Services, Md. Ruhul Amin Mia, Chief Executive Officer, City Corporation, District Relief Committee were present at the occasion. In this, 170 people of the third sex were given humanitarian assistance for 500 rupees.
