A bus helper, who suffered burn injuries in a petrol bomb attack on a bus in Rampura area of the city on February 12, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital here on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Bappi, 25, son of Dulal Miah, was resident of 1 no Diabari area of Mirpur and hailed from Srirampur village in Mohonganj upazila of Netrakona district.
Hospital sources said Bappi succumbed to his injuries at the burn unit of the DMCH around 11:30am.
He received burn injuries when miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at ‘Alif Paribahan’ bus around 7:30pm on February 12, added the sources.
