Unidentified gunmen shot dead an Awami League (AL) leader at Sublong in Jurachhori upazila of Rangamati last night.
The deceased Arbind Chakma , 35, was the organizing secretary of Jurachori upazila unit of AL.
Officer in-charge of Jurachhori Police Station Abul Baset, told The New Nation that unknown miscreants shot Arbind when he was walking in front of Sublong Primary School in the upazila around 8:00pm. “Arbind died on the spot,” he added.
