On the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a film exhibition, quiz competition and seminar based on the liberation war has been organized by the Information Office in Ramgarh under the program titled ‘Let’s listen to the story of the liberation war’.
Former Upazila Commander Bir Muktijoddha Mofizur Rahman narrated the story of the Liberation War on the students’ battlefield at a function organized at the Upazila Auditorium on Monday (September 20). He presents his real wartime experiences to everyone through stories.
Acting Upazila Nirbahi Officer Umme Habiba Majumder presided over the function while Ramgarh Upazila Parishad Chairman Bishwa Pradeep Karbari was the chief guest. Special guests were Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Samsuzzaman, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Rashed Chowdhury, Upazila Social Service Officer Azizur Rahman Anjum. Assistant Information Officer of Ramgarh Md. Belayet Hossain gave welcome speech on the occasion.
At the end of the ceremony, the guests distributed prizes among the winners of the quiz competition.
