Khagrachari Hill District Council Chairman Mongsuipru Chowdhury Apu said, “Ramgarh Diabetic Association will be fully supported to implement the great initiative.” He said this while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting organized in the conference room of Ramgarh Municipality on Thursday (August 18) with the aim of establishing Ramgarh Diabetic Society. He further said, ‘The initiative taken by Ramgarh’s proud Dr.Nikhil Chandra Nath (NC Nath) to establish a diabetic society here is a wonderful initiative. I will fully cooperate in the implementation of this great initiative of his. Eminent educationist Rameshwar Shil presided over the discussion meeting as special guests, former member of Khagrachari Hill District Council Mongpru Chowdhury, Ramgarh Upazila Chairman Bishwa Pradeep Kumar Karbari, Ramgarh Municipality Mayor Md. Rafiqul Alam Kamal, Upazila Vice Chairman Anwar Faruk, Upazila Awami League President Md. Mostafa Hossain, General Secretary and UP Chairman Kazi Nurul Alam (Alamgir). Journalist Md. Nizam Uddin Lavlu moderated the meeting at the beginning of the meeting by detailing the goals, objectives, activities, structure and management rules, etc., the founder of Ramgarh Diabetic Association, Mugda Medical College Hospital, Dhaka, Chief of Gastroenterology Department Associate Professor Dr. Nikhil Chandra Nath (NC Nath).
