The government has rearranged the office timing for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan from 9 am to 3:30 pm for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions.
The decision was taken at the virtual cabinet meeting on Monday. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended the meeting from Gano Bhaban through video conference.
After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam confirmed the matter to the media.
He said there will be a 15-minute break from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm for Zohr prayers.
