The authorities of Islamic University in Kushtia on Friday held a rally protesting the August 21 grenade attack on Sheikh Hasina and demanded punishment to the culprits.
The rally was brought out around 10am from in front of the administrative building of the university, led by IU Vice-chancellor Abdul Hakim Sarker.
The procession paraded the whole campus, ending at the same place.
IU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, IUTA former president Prof Dr Abul Ahsan Chowdury, former secretary Prof Dr Harun-Ur Rahsid Askari and Bangabandhu Parishad secretary Prof Dr Ruhul K. M. Saleh, among others, joined the rally.
