Some 29 small women entrepreneurs were given Taka 13.83 lakh loan for improving their living and livelihood condition through boosting income-generating activities.
Local principal office (LPO) of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) distributed the collateral-free loan under the Bangladesh Bank’s re-financing scheme on Monday.
All of the recipients are Taka 10 account-holding small businesswomen and entrepreneurs.
RAKUB Managing Director Kazi Alamgir was present at the distribution ceremony as chief guest.
General Managers Mozammel Haque and Khandaker Golam Mostofa, Deputy General Manager Jagannath Ghosh and LPO Assistant General Manager Shawkat Shahidul Islam were also present on the occasion.
