Bangladeshi player Rakib Hossain moved into the boys’ singles semifinal of the Division-2 of the ITF Asian Under-14 Tournament beating Sami Zeb Khan of Pakistan by 6-1 , 6-4 games in the quarterfinal in the Ho Che Minh city of Vietnam on Thursday.
Bangladesh pair Mashfia Afrin and Jerin Sultana Jolly advanced to the girls doubles semifinal of the meet eliminating Aida Pasonova and Polina Yancharuk of Kazakstan by 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 games in the quarterfinals at the same venue on Thursday.
