Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that rain accompanied by temporary squally wind might occur in many parts of the country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh division with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country”, said a BMD bulletin issued here on Saturday.
“…Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay. A low is likely to form over north-west Bay and adjoining area during next 24 hrs”.
