Bangladesh meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind in several parts of the country in next 24 hours ending at 9 am on Saturday.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Jashore and Kushtia with hails at isolated places until early tomorrow,” said a met office press release issued here on Friday morning.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, the release added.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Besides, mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Madaripur, Rangamati, Feni and Moulvibazar and it may abate from some places.
