Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted that rain may occur at different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions; at a few places over Khulna, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions; and at one or two places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places,” said a Met Office bulletin issued here.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said. The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 37.8 degrees Celsius in Rangamati, while Wednesday’s minimum temperature was 20.2 degree Celsius in Dinajpur.
