Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a weather forecast on Monday predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am today. “Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am on Monday,” the forecast said.
